I grew up in the pacific northwest, and being in the forest amongst quiet nature is one of my absolute favorite things. As a military spouse, I've moved often, finally settling in Liberty Hill and replacing pine trees for cedars. The Woods Baking Co. pays homage to my roots (pun intended) as well as my new beginnings growing here in Liberty Hill.
I am also a twin mom and award-winning baker specializing in gluten-free and plant-based recipes to fuel a healthy lifestyle. I'm obsessed with oat milk lattes and enjoy the outdoors, family time and developing new recipes in the kitchen. When I first lived in Texas in 2010, I worked at a cafe and was given the freedom to bake whatever I wanted. This is where inventing nutritious recipes really took off--I got a kick out of making treats that were not only tasty, but nourishing as well. Those years in Corpus Christi, I introduced most of my customers to "gluten-free" and "vegan" for the first time, with great feedback.
